Mahurangi Riding School offers professional horse riding lessons just 30 minutes from Warkworth and the Hibiscus Coast, and 20 minutes from Wellsford and Kaukapakapa. We provide quality instruction on safe, well-schooled horses in a supportive, family-focused environment.

With over 30 years of combined coaching experience, Mahurangi Riding School delivers high-quality equestrian coaching built on strong foundations, correct horsemanship, and horse welfare at the core. We welcome riders of all ages and ability levels, from beginners to more experienced riders, and pride ourselves on offering a warm, community-driven riding school where both horses and riders can thrive.
